How we handle your close-out data
When you ask us to draft a close-out pack, you send us the text of a PSC, RightShip or vetting finding. That's all we need. Please don't include crew names or other personal data. Vessel names are optional.
What we collect
- The deficiency or observation wording you send
- Any notes or evidence you choose to add
- Your name and work email, so we can reply
How we use it We use it only to draft your close-out pack. We never share it with other companies, never publish it, and never use it to market to anyone else. Your findings are not used as examples or case studies without your written permission.
How long we keep it We delete your finding text and attachments within 30 days of sending your pack, or sooner if you ask. You can ask us at any time to delete everything we hold about you.
Delete my data Email support@closethecap.com from your work address and ask us to delete your data. We will confirm once purge is complete.
Who we are CapBoard is run by Bobook Limited, a company registered in Ireland. We process your data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, and to complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission.
